The battle towards 6G has begun as 5G, or fifth-generation mobile telephone network standard , is being deployed globally. This is a competition for geopolitical influence as well as technology. Since the development of 3G and 4G, China's economic and political interests in 6g has increased, and its leading telecoms company Huawei is now dedicated to developing 6G technology that will outperform the rest of the world. With the decline in western-Chinese ties, companies like Apple and Samsung have moved some of their production out of China and into more amicable nations like Vietnam .Key competitors in the race also includes Nokia, Samsung, and Ericsson, long regarded as the creators of the most cutting-edge mobile infrastructure in the world.
China has become the world's first country to have successfully launched the 6G communications test satellite. It was launched using Long March 6 rocket from the Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center in the Shanxi Province. By 2030, the majority of nations are anticipated to have commercially available 6G internet networks. The spread of RAN and THz spectrum are significantly more effectively utilized by 6G. increasing spectrum sharing, capacity, and latency. Compared with 5G, 6G will have a wider frequency band, higher transmission rate, spectrum efficiency, greater connection capacity, shorter delay , wider coverage and stronger anti-interference capability, so as to meet the various network requirements for industries. Different countries have Been spending huge sum of money on the research of 6g technology ,china leads the path with 40.6 % of the global 6g patents followed by usa 35.2 % ,japan 9.9%, Europe 8% and southkorea in 4.2% of patents respectively. Western nations, though, run the very real risk of having to embrace Huawei's 6G if they don't work together. That would reduce the grueling conflict over 5G infrastructure to a mere altercation.
